From Sta Barbara Harbor to Sta Rosa, into the Sta Cruz Channel, up to the Cave, then home. A cold day with very little wind. Sea lions, common dolpins, and about a dozen Orcas. What a day!

Just barely under the sea surface, an Orcinus orca is on its way up to take a breath.
It may look like one of those captive sea aquarium photographs, but this is a large wild, free range, organic male Orcinus orca right next to the Condor Express in the Santa Barbara Channel.
